International praise for the efforts of the Suez Canal Authority

Many global trade and shipping institutions/ bodies have appreciated the efforts of the Suez Canal Authority to end the grounded vessel crisis in a record time and without losses. A letter from the International Maritime Organization (IMO) addressed to the Egyptian ambassador in London, Egypt's permanent representative in the IMO, highlighted the appreciation of the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization and all its members for the great efforts exerted by the Egyptian government to tackle the challenges posed by the grounded vessel "Ever Given" in the Suez Canal, and successfully refloating it, which allowed the resumption of navigation traffic in one of the most important global shipping lanes.


For its part, the shipping line "Evergreen" expressed, in a statement, its deep appreciation to the Suez Canal Authority for its efforts exerted towards solving this difficult crisis.
