  Pollution Fighting Vessels

The Suez Canal Authority has an integrated system for pollution and oil spill fighting which has at its core advanced marine units and equipment stationed along the Canal for rapid response in emergencies. That is in addition to using state-of-the-art maritime simulators to ensure immediate intervention and protecting the marine environment.

The French Depollution Vessels "Multi Cleaner 128" are considered an invaluable addition to the SCA's fleet and are the first of their kind in Egypt and the Middle East. Their high maneuverability and less than 1-minute deployment time are the key features that make them the optimal choice for immediate response in marine pollution incidents that occur in various conditions. Moreover, their bow collection arms and Dual Flow technology allow for the separation of water and oil as well as storing pollutants with high efficiency, and collecting solid and liquid waste at the same time.

These vessels abilities extend beyond pollution fighting and include comprehensive port services; like: towage, firefighting, quay cleaning as well as transporting equipment and personnel.
