Appendix Circular No. (1/2024)

18 April 2024 Special Floating Units

1) All yachts are hereby exempted from the provisions of Circular No. 1/2024 pertaining to the application of mooring and light services. Consequently, the regulations in force prior to the implementation of the aforementioned circular shall remain applicable, consistent with the SCA Rules of Navigation, 2020 Edition.

2) An annual financial and technical assessment shall be conducted based on the statistical data of yachts' volume. It remains at the discretion of the SCA to modify these assessments. This initiative represents the SCA's contribution to bolstering the efforts of the Egyptian State and fostering yacht tourism in Egypt's marinas and ports.

3) This instruction will be in forced on date 1/5/2024
