• Port-Said Shipyard spanned over an area of 365900m2 (land area) ,of which  70500m2 is occupied by (sheet metal cutting and forming workshops – Welding , assembly and erection workshops – machining workshops (conventional and digitally-controlled (CNC)) – forging and casting workshops – Electric workshops – Electronics Lab. – Engines workshops – Paint workshops – Mechanical installments workshops – Piping workshop – Carpentry and interior workshops – Compressed air stations – Oxygen and acetylene production units – etc.)
  • Port-Said Shipyard  possesses the capability to build marine vessels with a wide range of capacities and is equipped with:


    1. Slipway with a capacity of 20,000 tons for shipbuilding, equipped with 4 yard cranes with capacities ranging from 40 – 60 tons.
    2. Five floating cranes of capacities ranging from 25 – 500 tons.
    3. 2650m. of quays with a draft of up to 9 m. equipped with service cranes with lifting capacities up to 60 tons.
    4. Design section which uses the latest marine design software (AVEVA) and has engineers who are highly-qualified and well-trained in marine vessels design as per the requirements of the international classification societies.
    5. quality section that is qualified and certified by international classification societies which has the latest NDT equipment.
