• Port-Said Shipyard occupies an area of 265520 m2, out of which workshops occupy 69017 m2 (sheet metal cutting and forming workshops – Welding , assembly and erection workshops – machining workshops (conventional and digitally-controlled (CNC)) – forging and casting workshops – Electric workshops – Electronics Lab. – Engines workshops – Paint workshops – Mechanical installments workshops – Piping workshop – Carpentry and interior workshops – Compressed air stations – Oxygen and acetylene production units – etc.)
  • Port-Said Shipyard has so much potential that enable it to build marine vessels of various capabilities and equipped with:


    1. Slipway with a capacity of 20,000 tons for shipbuilding, equipped with 4 yard cranes with capacities ranging from 40 – 60 tons.
    2. Five floating cranes of capacities ranging from 25 – 500 tons.
    3. 1775 m. of quays with a draft of up to 9 m. equipped with service cranes with lifting capacities up to 60 tons.
    4. Design section which uses the latest marine design software (AVEVA) and has engineers who are highly-qualified and well-trained in marine vessels design as per the requirements of the international classification societies.
    5. quality section that is qualified and certified by international classification societies which has the latest NDT equipment.
