• Port-Said Shipyard carries out the necessary maintenance for the fleet of Suez Canal Authority      (SCA) thanks to the many workshops it has to execute all the  required works as follows:
      • Sheet metal cutting and forming workshops.
      • Welding , assembly and erection workshops.
      • Machining workshops (conventional and digitally-controlled (CNC))
      • Forging and casting workshops
      • Electric workshops
      • Electronics Lab.
      • Engines workshops
      • Paint workshops
      • Mechanical installments workshops
      • Piping workshop
      • Carpentry and interior workshops
      • Compressed air stations
      • Oxygen and acetylene production units
  • The Shipyard has repair quays at a total length of 1775 m, and depths of 9 m, equipped with           service cranes with lifting capacities up to 60 tons used for ship repair, as well as floating                 cranes  with capacities up to 500 tons.
  • The Shipyard specializes as well in the maintenance of various propeller types (vertical – CPP –      FPP   Z drive  – etc.).   
  • Port-Said Shipyard has 4 floating docks of different capacities for the maintenance of marine        vessels, and their main specifications are as follows:





        




       1.   Floating dock FAKHR AL_QANAL:              

      • 35,000-ton capacity.
      • joined service in 2023.
      • 250 m. pontoon length.
      • 50 m. net internal width.
      • Service cranes:2×40-ton capacity cranes.

  

          

   












          2.   Floating dock Eid El-Nasr:


      • 25,000-ton capacity.
      • joined service in 1961.
      • 210 m. pontoon length.
      • 35 m. net internal width.
      • Service cranes:2×15-ton capacity cranes.





    

       






 


          3.   Floating dock El-Salam:

      • 10,000-ton capacity.
      • joined service in 1979.
      • 169.4 m. pontoon length.
      • 28 m. net internal width.
      • Service cranes: 2×10ton capacity cranes.






       

  







          4.   Floating dock Port-Said:

      • 5,000-ton capacity.
      • joined service in 2001.
      • 106.4 m. pontoon length.
      • 21.75 m. net internal width.
      • Service cranes:2×(5-6)ton capacity crane.
